UAE e-invoicing: where Qaflo fits, and where it does not
From 2027 a UAE tax invoice travels as structured data through an accredited service provider, not as a PDF. Qaflo is where the invoice is raised and the VAT return is prepared. It is not the provider that transmits it, and we would rather you knew that before the demo than after it.
Qaflo is ERP software for UAE contractors: quotations, purchasing, stock, job costing, invoicing, the VAT return and payroll, in one system.
What the mandate asks of your business
Every business appoints an Accredited Service Provider and files invoices through it, as structured XML on the Peppol network in the UAE PINT AE format. Once your phase goes live, a PDF no longer counts as the invoice. The dates depend on turnover.
- At or above AED 50m turnover: appoint a provider by 30 October 2026, live on 1 January 2027
- Below AED 50m: appoint by 31 March 2027, live on 1 July 2027
- The provider is appointed by you, not by your ERP vendor

What Qaflo does today
The invoice has to be right before any provider can carry it. Qaflo raises a tax invoice already built to the FTA content rules and posts it to the ledger the VAT return comes out of, so the figures a provider transmits and the figures you file agree.
- Your TRN on the document, with VAT shown on each line rather than added at the bottom
- Credit and debit notes on the same path as the invoice
- The FTA VAT 201 built box by box from posted documents, drillable to each one
What Qaflo does not do
Qaflo is not an accredited service provider. It does not produce the PINT AE payload for you today, it does not connect to a provider, and it submits nothing to the FTA. Those belong to the provider you appoint. Ask us on the call which providers we have worked alongside, and plan the appointment on the dates above rather than waiting for your ERP to do it.
Where this lives in the platform
One database underneath all of it, so what you enter here is what everyone else reads.
Finance & VAT
A real double-entry ledger underneath, not a spreadsheet with totals. Invoices, receipts, supplier bills and payments post to the general ledger as they happen, so the VAT return comes out of that ledger instead of out of a spreadsheet at the end of the quarter.
Reporting
Reports over your own ledger and your own pipeline, each date-ranged, drillable to the document it came from, and exportable to Excel, CSV or PDF — including the FTA VAT 201 return, box by box.
